How do you find, build or keep good staff?
How often have you asked yourself how you can find, build or keep good staff? I am often told that it is
simply impossible to find or keep good staff and yet I consistently see just the opposite. No, I am not saying
that the problem doesn't exist, but what I am saying is that there are solutions to the "staffing crisis".
The first step to finding the right people is to know what to look for. Although it is important that the
individual possesses the skills or abilities you are looking for, it is even more important to be able to predict
an individual's behavior. We all know that all the skill and ability in the world won't do us any good if the
person doesn't show up for work or stands around complaining when he does show up.
