What's Fair? Communication and fair play We've all heard the complaint or maybe even had the experience of getting ripped off.  Important questions are how, when and why does this happen.  In other words, what are the ingredients and warning signs of rip- off? In our society we all strive for and want fairness.  Ever since we were children we wanted things to be fair, and when, in our eyes, they weren't we would go to our parents or teachers to complain that it isn't fair.  I don't think much has changed; we still want fair play and we want to avoid being ripped off.
